Grades

Course Grade = (Quizzes + Midterm Test + Exam)/3

Your grade for the semester will be based upon quizzes, midterm test and a final exam. The lowest quiz grades from each half of the semester will be dropped in computing your final grade.

There will be no make-ups for quizzes*

Homework Homework will not count directly toward your grade but it will be discussed in class and your instructor will be pleased to check, correct and discuss any (tidy and legible) logic exercises you care to submit. Please try to read the material and do the exercises listed for a given day prior to the class meeting at which they will be discussed.
Course Conduct

You are responsible for saving all quizzes and your midterm test. You are expected to attend class regularly. Acts of academic dishonesty are taken seriously and dealt with harshly, following the University's academic integrity procedures. If you are caught cheating you get an automatic F for the course—no negotiation, no exceptions.will not count directly toward your grade but it will be discussed in class and your instructor will be pleased to check, correct and discuss any (tidy and legible) logic exercises you care to submit. *  Exceptions: By USD policy, students involved in out of town university athletic or religious events on quiz dates with appropriate documentation may make special arrangements.
