I currently teach philosophy at the University of San Diego. Starting this fall, I will be an associate professor of philosophy at Northwest Nazarene University.
My research interests lie primarily in the intersection of metaphysics, free will and moral responsibility, and philosophy of religion.
I have published a number of papers on the metaphysics of free will, culminating in a book entitled
Free Will: Sourcehood and Its Alternatives. I recently edited two collections in the philosophy of religion for Routledge.
I am taking part in an NEH Summer Institute on experimental philosophy during the summer of 2009.
I teach a wide range of courses on metaphysics, philosophy of religion, ethics, and the history of philosophy.
