CLD MISSION

The Council for Learning Disabilities is an international professional organization dedicated soley to professionals working with individuals with learning disabilities.

Networking

CLD provides an invaluable platform for peer support and open communication for its members. At state and regional meetings and international conventions teachers, teacher educators, psychologists, diagnosticians, speech­langauge pathologists and many other professions share their concerns. CLD provides a rich opportunity for collaboration and outlets for cooperative efforts.

Conferences

The annual International Conference on Learning Disabilities offers intensive interaction with and among professional educators and top LD researchers. Concise, informative and interesting forums on topics from effective instruction to self­reliance are presented by well-known professionals from across the country and around the world.

Publications

Members of CLD automatically recieve two of the leading professional LD journals valued at much more than the price of CLD membership! Learnings Disability Quartery and Intervention in School and Clinic are full of research and practical classroom useful articles.
