Getting to the UCSD Biomedical Library

Our library has a limited number of biomedical research journals. To obtain others you may need to visit the UCSD Biomedical Library. You can find library hours and other useful information on their website. Probably the best time to go is evenings or weekends. Parking is easier and less expensive (evening) or free (Saturday, Sunday, late evening/night some locations). See UCSD's Visitor Parking Information for more details.

Visitors can copy articles at the library. There is a large copy room on the second floor. You can purchase magnetic cards encoded for variable numbers of copies (the more you buy the lower the price per copy). There are no longer any coin-operated machines. Unless you want to buy a lot of copies on your card, be sure to have small bills ($1, $5) handy as there is no large bill changer.
