Two mid-term examinations and a final examination will be administered. These exams may be administered in class or be given as take-home examinations.

Assignments must be turned in at the time requested. Late assignments will not be accepted unless special circumstances prevail. Examinations must be taken at the assigned time. Failure to do so will result in a grade of ZERO for that examination. If there are extenuating circumstances that prevents from taking the exam on the scheduled date and time, please let me know in advance or as soon as possible. In such cases, other arrangements will be made.

Attendance is required at every laboratory session. Failure to attend a laboratory session will result in a one letter grade deduction in the final grade. Record all laboratory experiments in the lab notebook that will be collected occasionally to grade. Formal laboratory reports will be assigned.
