  -Class Attendance You are expected to attend class, but it is not mandatory.
  -Class Participation The more participation, the better.
  
  
• Grading Structure:
  I do not curve grades.
  1. Three in class exams will be given --------------------------------------------------------- 40%
  2. A cumulative final will be given ------------------------------------------------------------- 25%
  3. Weekly quizzes will be given on Friday -------------------------------------------------- 12.5%
  4. Weekly homework assignments will be collected on Monday -------------------- 12.5%
  5. Group Presentations and Group Homework ------------------------------------------------- 10%
  
  
  
• Exam Dates:
  
  -Exam 1 - Friday, October 3
  -Exam 2 - Friday, November 7
  -Exam 3 - Friday, December 5
  -Final Exam - Section 1 - Wednesday, December 17, 8:00am-10am or Section 2 - Monday, December 15, 11:00am-1:00pm
  
  
• Make-ups and Late Assignments
  If you miss an hour test or final exam, you will not be allowed to make it up unless you were sick or otherwise unavoidably absent. In this case you MUST contact me. If you miss a quiz, I will allow only one make-up and it must be completed during my office hours on the following Monday. Late homework will be accepted with a penalization of 50% deduction.
