Stem Cells - the Scientific and Ethical Issues - This site serves to explain the generic basis of stem cells and the research that is currently underway. It then raises some ethical and scientific issues that concern this topic.
FlyNome - stories explaining the origin of some Drosophila gene names, many odd, informative or amusing.
