St. Vincent de Paul

Background

The St. Vincent de Paul Village consists of three residential centers that house up to 850 homeless men, women, and children. The short term transitional housing provides shelter 4-6 months. Residents transferring to long term transitional housing complete assessment tests and agree to goals addressing root causes of their homelessness. Facilities include medical and dental clinic, two dining halls, an adult education and training program, counseling, case management, and children's services. Clients are referred to the residential center by social service agencies countywide.
