Bill Wasserman's Developmental Biology Page - A site with movies and pictures of development from oogenesis through eye and heart development. Includes different organisms (birds, mammals, sea urchins, etc).

Stem Cell Basics - NIH site with information on stem cells. The site also includes a description of stem cell applications, current research, and a summary of basics.
Stem Cells - the Scientific and Ethical Issues - This site serves to explain the generic basis of stem cells and the research that is currently underway. It then raises some ethical and scientific issues that concern this topic.
FlyNome - stories explaining the origin of some Drosophila gene names, many odd, informative or amusing.
Homophila (rhymes with Drosophila) - a serious database (although you couldn't tell by the home page graphics) matching Human disease genes to Drosophila homologs.
