Guided Practice

Guided practice is a pedagogical technique for increasing classroom preparedness. Worksheets are given to students that include the following basic components.

• Overview / Assigned Reading
• Basic Learning Objectives
• Advanced Learning Objectives
• Pre-class Exercises

Students use these worksheets to guide their reading and complete the pre-class exercises before class.

Available Worksheets

Worksheets have been developed for three separate computer science courses.

• Intro to Computer Systems: HTML, Source (Markdown)
• Computer Architecture: Coming Soon!

A GitHub repository with all of the worksheets is also coming soon to allow for outside contributors to add to and improve the selection of worksheets.
