Questions:

  1. Why is a circuit a good name for the arrangements of bulb, wire, and battery which produced light?
  2. Would the slope that you obtained in part B increase, decrease, or stay the same if you tried the experiment with a larger resistor?
  3. Show, using Kirchhoff's laws what a) the voltages should have been with just $R_1$ and $R_2$ in series, and what b) the voltages should have been with all three resistors.
  4. Give a definition for the terms series, and parallel. Make it accurate and a simple as possible.
