Introduction:

In this experiment one can verify that electromagnetic radiation from a laser beam exhibits wave phenomena such as diffraction and interference. We will take the accepted value for the wave length of the laser to be = 6.328 ×10^-7m. And, we will aim to arrive at that value experimentally by observing interference and diffraction effects.
