Teaching Blocks Each block is organized in the same manner. First will be presentation on the basics of each block. Students are expected to read the assigned papers for background information as well as search the internet for supporting material. Depending on time, there will be a list of topics that students can open up for discussion.  Each block will have two assigned publications (papers) to present. All students are expected to have read each paper and join in the discussion. See the first presentation handout for details.   

Exams - There is a list of potential test questios for each block (in the links). Four of these questions will be given "as written" on the block exam.         At the end of each block students will have the opportunitiy to review the questions and work with other students on the answer. The exam will be hand written without aid of notes or other resources.
